These apartments are fantastic! Spacious with lots of cabinet space in the kitchen too. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment is such a game changer. The location of Mountain View Village is fantastic too. Close to the best shopping in town and close to the Airforce base and downtown Rapid City. You really can't go wrong leasing here.

Moved to South Dakota approximately a month ago from Florida. Besides the weather really didn’t know what to expect. I spoke with the front office of Mountain View apartments a few weeks prior to moving. The front office personnel (Jolie and Bri) were so professional and helpful in providing me not only with information about their apartments but other general information about the Rapid City area. I have nothing but great things to say about the apartments and the treatment I have received from the front office (Bri and Jolie) since the day I arrived. I don’t know all my neighbors personally, but they seem pleasant and there’s little to no noise from them. The apartment itself has a lot of space especially in the front room and bedroom. Even with a queen-size bed there’s plenty of additional space for extra furniture. The weight room is nice as well with a few treadmills and lightweights. Getting Amazon packages from the automated delivery boxes is NICE 😊. I am a retired military veteran, so I am not far from the VA or the local Air Force Base a win-win. If you are in search of a great place to stay that feels like home, I strongly recommend Mountain View!! Don’t know how the job is going to turn out but I am loving this place!!

I've more more expensive apts and apts with more amenities, but not with better management. Management can make or break your experience regardless of features. The management here has always been accommodating and quick to respond even if something unexpected comes up.

The entire management is very quick with responses and easy to contact. Bri was especially helpful with answering any questions and noting any needed fixes during the walk-through. Eric had the maintenance requests completed within a day. Overall great experience!

This has been our favorite place we’ve lived, we love the open space and how quiet it is, but it’s a little bit concerning the amount of issues and maintenance requests needed right off the bat. It seemed as though the move out inspection didn’t happen before we moved in, we weren’t able to get keys until the evening and the carpets were still sopping wet when we entered too. Thankfully the maintenance was very polite and fixed each issue we had in a timely manner. Management is great and responsive too which is awesome! I also read another review about parking being an issue, I have noticed this as well so I’m grateful for the overflow lot.

It was a good short-lived experience for us. The staff and maintenance crew was very responsove to any situation we had. My only concern was the lack of parking. Some nights coming home late would lead to parking a good distance from the apartment. Otherwise we had a good time living there.

The management team at the office are very professional and try to get work orders done as soon as possible. The only major problem here is the parking. Just not enough spaces in front of our apartment building, which means we have to park in guest parking. The apartments are slightly dated, but hopefully that will keep the cost of rent pricing down. We have enjoyed living here, almost 5 years now.
